Vèronique Ngo
Sach-Hien
studied at the Conservatoire
National Supérieur de Musique de Paris from 1987. In this
institution she was awarded First Prizes in Piano, Chamber
Music, Vocal Accompaniment and Music Theory, studying with
Yvonne Loriod-Messiaen, Michel Béroff and Anne Grappotte.
In 1999-2000, she graduated with distinctions from her
advance postgraduate studies in Piano Performance at the
Royal College of Music in London, studying with Irina
Zaritskaya and winning several College prizes. She was also
semi-finalist in the Chopin International Piano Competition
in Darmstadt (Germany).Between 1992 and 1996, Véronique
took part in master-classes with Paul Badura-Skoda and
Nikita Magaloff, and was chosen by Murray Perahia in his
Chopin master-classes at the Britten-Pears School in
Aldeburgh (England). She went to the Musickhochschule in
Frankfurt to study Lieder and Chamber Music with Rainer
Hoffman, Charles Spencer and Tabea Zimmerman. She also
attended recital training at the Royaumont Abbey with
mezzo-soprano Monique Simon, directed by Ruben Lifschitz,
and participated in master-classes with Christa Ludwig,
Gérard Souzay, and Noël Lee. Véronique has performed
extensively as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanist
in France (Salle Cortot, Salle Chopin Pleyel, Royaumont
Abbey, Fontmorigny Abbey, Pamiers Festival, Saison musicale
de Montréjeau, etc), England (St. Martin-in-the-fields,
Blackheath Concert Hall, Morley College, University of
Warwick Music Centre, St. James Piccadilly, etc),
Switzerland (Ticino Musica Festival), Luxembourg, Spain
(Llivia Festival), Italy and South Korea. She was invited
to perform as a soloist with the Youth Philharmonic of
Seine-Saint - Denis Orchestra, the London Schools Symphony
Orchestra and the Lithuanian State Orchestra. Since 2004,
she teaches piano-accompaniment at the Ecole Nationale de
Musique du Pays de Montbéliard.
